Reflection: It is difficult to separate the political and economic concepts of many leaders for nations into two simple catagories. All are mixtures that require interpretation based on events of history or event of the day.


Conservatism - desire to maintain existing order - change is slow.
- social norms should be maintained group based - community important.
- group rights

Liberalism - change based on individual needs
- individual right more important than groups. Individual decisions priority over group norms.
- positive rights

Socialism - equality / equity / distribution
- believe in in some form of government involvement in creating for distribution of wealth.





Political Thinker
