-It’s making the world a smaller place (every one knows what’s going on in the other side of the world).
-Globalization is greatly impacting the world with its downsides as well as its good sides.
-It causes unemployment that consequently leads to poverty.
-It also increases competitiveness and improves efficiency.
-Affects cultures and the uniqueness of a particular thing (countries, cities, tribes…)
what this image is showing is a map where it
shows how everything is made in different
parts of the world. it also shows how
international we are becoming. it truly reflects the
meaning of the global village!
i really like this image, and what i think what
this image is trying to explain is how our whole
world is now connecting more and more
everyday. its showing two hands that are
connected to each other and forming the
picture of the globe. if you focus more into the
image, you'll see that one of the hands is
white, and the other is black. i believe this
image is trying to send us a message which
is to be a more connected world in the other
sense, to stop war and conflict around the
world and try making the it a better and
peaceful place for every one to live in.
this one is very true, its showing how our
everyday life products (such as clothes, cars,
accessories...) are coming from all over the
world. even though most of us don't really
notice that, now-a-days most of our stuff are
being made in a factory in some spot on the
globe, and then gets sent to other side of
the globe where its being sold.
"Sorry lads, I'm closing this workshop down,
and relocating in the far east"
This image is showing how today were having
all these worldwide international corporations
that have their offices or stores all over the
world, and small businesses are expanding
and becoming more and more international. and
even culture is being commercialized.
our world today is becoming more complex everyday,
and globalization is making the level of competitiveness
even higher and higher. so now a days, an individual
should have international skills and cultural exposure to
find his/her way through life. and this picture is showing
how this guy is confused and lost because of all these
different and international paths in this world.
this one is similar to the second image, its showing
how everyone from all over the globe and all
different kinds of race, are connecting to each
other and becoming a one hand, one world.
internet now-a-days is becoming dominant and so
powerful that its one of the main things that are
connecting the whole world with each other, and i
think that is what this image is trying to say.
this image is related the one before, its showing
a keyboard with different continents on each
button, which i believe that means is how the
internet is connecting the world with each other.
just by a simple click, you can know what's
going on on the other side of the world. http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o82/marizun/180px-Geokeys.jpg
this image shows how news and media are transporting
all kinds of news from all over the world and making this
world a smaller place to live in. in this image, this guy is
reading the paper and as you can see that the whole
world feels like its just outside his window.
I think McDonald's is a great example of globalization,
it is now considered one of the most dominant
companies in the world, every one around the
world knows what MacDonald's is, its restaurants
are spread out all over the world.
